Below is the testing schedule for the rest of the semester:

Wednesday, April 25th (3:45pm - 5:15pm) = Unit 2/3 Study Session

Saturday, April 28th (9am - 12pm) = Unit 6 Study Session

Wednesday, May 2nd (3:45pm - 5:15pm) = Unit 3/4 Study Session

Tuesday, May 8th (2nd Period) = Unit 6 Test (multiple-choice + essay)

Wednesday, May 9th (3rd, 5th and 7th Period) = Unit 6 Test (multiple-choice + essay)

Thursday, May 10th (3:45pm - 5:15pm) = Unit 4/5 Study Session

Monday, May 14th = Final Exam (multiple-choice)

Wednesday, May 16th (12:45pm - 2:15pm) = Unit 5/6 Study Session

Thursday, May 17th = AP World History Test

Extra Credit Opportunity

As an extra credit option, students may watch and review one of the following films concerning the Holocaust: Defiance, Life is Beautiful, the Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Schindler's List, The Pianist.  Student film reviews should range between 1000 and 1500 words and should include: a brief summary of the film, an evaluation of the film's relation to history and a personal opinion of the quality/enjoyability of the film.  Click here to see an example of a film review.  All reviews must be typed and marked with a parent signature indicating permission to participate in the exercise.  Exceptional assignments will net students up to 5 extra credit points to be added to the Unit 6 Test.  This assignment is due and will be collected on Monday, April 23rd.

Final Day Abroad

Greetings everyone! It's with a sad heart that I write you as we prepare to depart from our wonderful expedition abroad. Today we took a day trip to the beautiful city of Toledo where we visited the city's Cathedral, the Monastery of San Juan de Los Reyes, and the Synagogue of Santa Maria la Blanca. We then headed back to Madrid where we had a fantastic final night consisting of dinner at the Mercado San Miguel, attended a traditional Flamenco dance and topped-off the evening with  a dessert of churros con chocolate. We are now getting ready to head to the airport. We should arrive back in the Atlanta terminal around 4:30pm.
